Blackberry announced the Torch was coming to the AT&T network, the latest device from the Waterloo hardware manufacturer. Tech blogs and pundits around the country have been very tough on the new hardware, and say that it may not be enough to keep RIM on its perch. Is RIM headed for Doom, or are is there room in the market for this type of device.

A new wave of software development has been born over the past 2 years with the advent of application stores. It started with Apple’s iTunes App store and has spread like wildfire. Apps have sparked new life into software developers, and given the customer great new ways to use their device.
